Introduction

This policy explains what personal data the ecureuilcleanservice.fr website collects, why, who it is shared with and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data Controller

Data Collected

The website only collects the data it needs to work:

• Contact form: your email address, your name, the subject and the content of your message. This information is sent to us by email; it is not stored in a database of the website.
• Spam protection: when you send the form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the request does not come from a bot, and your IP address is sent to Cloudflare for this check. It is also used to limit submissions to five per minute.
• Audience measurement: Vercel Web Analytics counts the pages viewed, in aggregate and without cookies.
• Technical data: like any website, the site and its host process the connection data needed to display the pages (IP address, browser, pages requested).
• Cookies and local storage: one cookie protects the form against CSRF attacks, another remembers the display language, and your cookie choice is saved in your browser's local storage.

Purposes and Legal Bases

• Answering your contact and quote requests: pre-contractual steps taken at your request and legitimate interest in answering the messages we receive (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
• Protecting the form against spam and abuse: legitimate interest in securing the website (Article 6(1)(f)).
• Measuring website traffic in aggregate: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
• Remembering your language and cookie choice, protecting the form: legitimate interest; this storage is strictly necessary for the website to work.

Recipients and Service Providers

Your messages are intended for the Ecureuil Clean Service team. CrushCode, which built and maintains the website, also receives a copy. The website relies on the following technical service providers, which process some data on our behalf:

• Vercel Inc.: website hosting and audience measurement;
• Google (Gmail): delivery of contact form emails, from CrushCode's account, and storage of their copy;
• Cloudflare: anti-spam check (Turnstile);
• Upstash: limiting the number of form submissions.

Some of these providers are based in the United States, so your data may be processed outside the European Union.

Retention Period

• Contact form messages: as long as needed to handle your request.
• Anti-abuse counter tied to your IP address: about two minutes, then deleted automatically.
• Form protection cookie (csrfToken): the length of your session; it is deleted once the form is sent.
• Language cookie (NEXT_LOCALE): the length of your session.
• Cookie choice: kept in your browser until you clear its data.

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data:
